Prof.Irena Bartolec
Irena Bartolec graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education in 2003. She obtained her first professional experience working with athletes, recreational groups and persons in the process of rehabilitation.
After several years of working and holding different aerobic programmes during faculty, she got acquainted with yoga which became her new challenge for mind and body.
After learning and working at Medical Yoga Centre, her wish for further specialisation takes her to India where she had the opportunity to learn from traditional teachers and get to know authentic yoga at different yoga institutes. Following trends in fitness, Irena completed training for Pilates programmes which she then held in two studios in Zagreb.

Additional qualification for work in physical therapy obtained during the faculty deepened her knowledge in work with people with damaged locomotor system, and in her classes she pays extra attention to details important for correct posture and exercise performance, trying to adapt every exercise to the individual needs of every attendant.
Completed school of aromatherapy helps Irena to enrich every class with aromatic notes of essential oils and thus bring harmony to space, body and mind.

In 2005 in Mexico Irena completed Ashtanga Americas Yoga Teacher Training with Michael Gannon, teacher certified by Sri K. Pattabhi Jas. Ashtanga Americas Yoga Teacher Training is approved by the Yoga Alliance so she became a registered yoga teacher.
In 2007 in Thailand Irena completed additional teacher training in the Centred Yoga Institute led by Paul Dhalangan. She constantly charges her mind and body travelling and learning from numerous certified and recognized teachers (Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois, Sharath, Lino Miele...)
