Sara Barbieri
Sara was born on January 4th 1980 in Zagreb. In elementary school she simultaneously attended The School of Classical Ballet in Zagreb and as a part of the syllabus performed in the ballets of the Croatian National Theatre. Later on Sara took up contemporary dance and danced in almost all Zagreb studios where she learned from the recognized young pedagogues and dancers such as Zrinka Lukčec, Selma Banich, Silvija Marching, Iva Visak and many others. She attended numerous dance workshops here and in France.
She danced and performed in the plays of the Gavella Theatre (Latinovitz; How a Show is Created; Artej), the acting troupe 'Histrioni' (Fritz & the Singer), as well as the Musical Biennale of 2005 (the world premiere of the modern opera 'Diotime and Eurydice' by the Italian composer Nicola Sani).
