Ashtanga and Power Yoga are two most famous dynamic forms of yoga. They are particular due to physical demand and therefore interesting to wide population. Ashtanga Yoga is the oldest dynamic yoga style. Its roots can be found in traditional texts Patanjali in Yoga Sutras (300 – 250 BC)

Exercising Advice
It is advised to practice on empty stomach, at least three to four hours after your last meal, for food to be digested. Import of liquid is not advised because it slows the metabolism and „extinguishes“ the digestion fire (agni). Refreshment is welcome thirty minutes after exercising, consisting of water, fresh juices or tea.

Comfortable cotton and elastic clothes enables untrammelled movements. The most appropriate are cotton track suits, tights etc.

Your comfort is of the utmost importance. Jewellery and watches can block certain movements and cause involuntary injuries when exercising, so it is advised to take them off. Turn off your mobile phones and don't look at the clock during exercising; dedicate the time to yourselves.
If you feel tired during exercising, focus on breathing. Deep and conscious breathing brings more oxygen into organism and gives it more strength. Perform movements consciously; passive exercising brings no results. Calm your lower abdomen and use it for breathing deepening. Breath in sync with movements will bring additional energy into organism and invigorate mind and body.

Final relaxation (Savasana) is very important and an opportunity for achieving meditative state. These are the moments when the body absorbs all the benefits from exercising. Breathing and heart beats become slower and body and mind relax.

If you exercise on daily basis take one day y week off; traditionally it is Saturday.
Women during their menstrual cycle should avoid asanas which put the body into inverse positions (handstands, headstands etc.)
